The big day is here, and it’s the highlight of the Hogueras de San Juan festival.

12:00 PM – Official Fogueres Mass at the San Nicolás Co-Cathedral.

1:00 PM – Parade of the Nanos i Gegants d’Alacant.

Route: Ayuntamiento, Calle Altamira, and Alfonso X El Sabio.

2:00 PM – 7th Mascletà (XXXVII Mascletaes Competition) at Plaza de los Luceros. By Pirotecnia Tamarit SL.

10:00 PM – Street parties (Verbenas) at the Barracas and Racós.

12:00 AM (Midnight) – Launching of the monumental firework palm tree from the summit of Mount Benacantil (by Pirotecnia Piberzo SL), immediately followed by the Nit de la cremà (Night of the Burning), starting with the Official Bonfire at Plaza del Ayuntamiento and subsequently in the rest of the city districts.
