Alicante is experiencing one of its most intense and emotional days during the Hogueras de San Juan festival.

9:00 AM – Jury’s visit to the adult bonfires, barraca portals, and decorated streets.

11:30 AM – Tribute to Gabriel Miró at Plaza Gabriel Miró.

12:30 PM – Tribute to Jose Maria Py at Avenida General Marvá.

2:00 PM – 4th Mascletà (XXXVII Mascletaes Competition) at Plaza de los Luceros. By Pirotecnia Zarzoso.

5:00 PM – Announcement of prizes for the adult bonfires, barraca portals, and decorated streets.

5:30 PM – Official visit to the first-prize winning bonfire in the Special Category.

6:00 PM – 1st Session of the Flower Offering to the Virgin of Remedy (Virgen del Remedio).
