THURSDAY, AUGUST 13

• 08:00 Gathering of materials and setup of the play area in Plaza del Puente.

• 19:00 Traditional folk dance (dança) performed by the Cresol group in Plaza del Puente. Transfer of the image of San Roque from the chapel to Plaza del Puente.

• 19:30 Presentation of the 2026 Pilgrims (Adult and Children) and Official Opening Speech (Pregón) in Plaza del Puente.

• 21:00 Traditional appetizer spread (picaeta) and Turkey Dance (Baile del Pavo) led by Danses Cresol.

  Followed by table assembly for the BYO dinner (cena de sobaquillo).

  Popular block party (verbena) with a live DJ.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 14

• 10:00 Street parade (pasacalles) through the neighborhood streets.

• 12:00 Flower offering at the altars honoring San Roque set up in Plaza del Puente and various streets across the neighborhood.

• 14:00 Brotherhood Lunch with the Traditional Festival Commissions and Federation.

• 18:00 Children’s traditional games and afternoon snack (sweet bread roll with ice cream).

• 21:30 Spanish Omelette Contest (Concurso de Tortillas) and jury awards — BYO dinner (cena de sobaquillo) in Plaza del Puente.

• 23:00 Fantasy Hat Contest. Registered participants will showcase their hats around Plaza del Puente, and the jury will choose the top 3.

  WESTERN NIGHT WITH MECHANICAL BULL

• 00:00 Popular block party (verbena) with a live DJ.

SATURDAY, AUGUST 15

• 10:00 Popular community breakfast (almuerzo) in Plaza del Puente.

• 11:00 Street parade through the neighborhood streets.

• 12:00 Traditional water soak (banya) and Foam Party in Plaza del Puente.

• 18:00 Children’s traditional games and water games. Afternoon snack provided by Aguas de Alicante.

• 19:00 FANCY DRESS PARADE THROUGH THE DISTRICT. DISNEY THEME.

• 21:00 Wood-fired Paella Contest — Calle Balseta — paellas must be presented to the jury in Plaza del Puente at 22:30 for scoring.

• 23:00 “CONCURSO DE FEOS” (UGLIEST FACE CONTEST) —REVIVING TRADITIONS—.

  THEMED NIGHT – WHITE NIGHT — both the festival committee and all attendees in Plaza del Puente are invited to dress in white for a magical night.

  MEMBERS OF THE 2025 SAN GABRIEL COURT OF HONOR WILL SERVE THEIR TRADITIONAL SANGRIA/PUNCH (ZURRA) IN PLAZA DEL PUENTE.

SUNDAY, AUGUST 16

• 10:00 Popular community breakfast (almuerzo) in Plaza del Puente.

• 11:00 Street parade through the neighborhood streets.

• 20:00 Outdoor Mass in Plaza del Puente.

  Followed by the Solemn Procession in honor of San Roque, accompanied by the Danses Cresol group and the Colla el Coco (traditional music ensemble) — tasting of sweet rolls (rotllets) and mistela wine in Plaza del Ayuntamiento.

  At the end of the procession, a reception/snack will be offered to the float bearers (costaleros), the brotherhood (cofradía), and the San Roque Festival Committee in Plaza del Puente.

  Followed by the popular block party (verbena) with a live DJ.
